  • Why choose MyDoctor
    • eDoctor Consultations (Pvt) Ltd is a Registered Company in Sri Lanka baring the registration number PV 88065. MyDoctor is one of its registered brands.
    • All doctors in our panel are MBBS qualified doctors who are registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
    • It is very simple with interface to consult us using a method convenient to you. It is not an open forum and other people will not see your questions posted.
    • Confidentiality and Privacy will be maintained throughout.
  • How do I register with MyDoctor?
    • Go to the Home page of www.mydoctor.lk
    • Click on “Get Started” tab
    • Choose either “login via social media” or create your own MyDoctor profile by clicking “Not yet registered” option, which will enable you to create your own user name and password for MyDoctor.
    • Once you have registered creating a user name and a password, you will receive an email or a sms containing an activation code which you are required to enter to complete the registration process.
    • Type your user name and password in the member log in area to access MyDoctor services as a Member.

  • How do I benefit by asking questions at MyDoctor?
    The Doctors at MyDoctor help users with information and advice on their medical/surgical queries. However in complex health issues our Doctors will be able to guide you in your next step to consulting and physically meeting the right Specialist.
  • Will others see my problem when I post it? Will it be an open forum?
    No. The question will only be seen by our on call doctor who is going to reply you. It is not an open forum. We assure 100% privacy for all our members.
  • What will I get out of my consultation with MyDoctor?
    • Personalized answers, options, suggestions, advice, and latest medical information by a SLMC approved Specialist /Doctor.
    • Opinions on your symptoms, lab test, scans and other investigations
    • Best Course of action, helping you understand your medical condition and providing you with remedies that could help you.
  • I get an error while uploading the files?
    If you have a problem in updating any files or attachments please call our call center on 0710 247 000 or send us an email at [email protected] and we will assist you.
  • What are the limitations of online consultations?
    To answer your queries, the Medical Expert is solely dependent on the information provided by you. While MyDoctor is an honest attempt to provide access to the best possible medical information to the patient, the Medical Experts will not be examining you physically and thus may not have the benefit of information that would be obtained by examining you in person, observing your physical condition and by going through your complete medical records.
    To reduce any risk to you we recommend that you obtain further clarification of a consultant physically depending on the nature of your illness.
  • Why do you need my email / telephone number?
    Your email / telephone number is solely utilized to connect you with our Specialist/ Doctor panel. It is not share with anyone, under any circumstances.
  • How do I pay MyDoctor?
    • Depositing/transferring the said amount to
      Sampath bank account and forwarding us the deposit slip (scanned/post)
